Taken in small doses, fiction will regulate breathing and mental capacity of the millions of elf pods living beneath the human skin.

The elves, as they grow quickly and stay small forever, do not disturb a human for much of its life. They do, however, eject humility, charisma, character, and flutterings of morality if tampered with too often. That is, when the skin breaks open at night and the fiction monster slithers up onto the sofas and beds and futons where humans perch to conduct nighttime reading.

Fiction monster has horns and will break the skin open whilst the human disengages from reading to watch television or munch on donuts. Fiction monster jabs the skin until it loosens and with the precision of a well-handled needle, it will insert fiction into the human.

The human must never know it has been infused with fiction or it will wish to tell everyone it knows and discuss its newfound aubundance, thereby triggering other humans to covet and eventually pay high dollar for fiction.

Because Americans in particular have a materialistic need of sickening disbelief, myself included, this will dismantle fiction monster and cause extinction.

Fiction is free, people. It comes from imagination. Protect it.
